Last weekend the publisher of the game F1 2020 announced all Driver Ratings. All Formula 1 drivers have received ratings in various areas, but in a short period of time there was already a lot of criticism. Charles Leclerc is also unhappy about the way Codemasters rated the drivers.

The driver of Ferrari argues that other aspects should have been taken into account as well. "As far as I'm concerned, some ratings are not appropriate. I think George has very low ratings, but he is fast. If you put him in the right car, he's as fast as the best," said Leclerc on Twitch about Russell driving for Williams.

Doubtful scores in F1 2020

Only rookie Nicholas Latifi (also Williams) and the Italian Antonio Giovinazzi of Alfa Romeo have a lower score than Russell. The 22-year-old Briton is eligible to drive alongside Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes from 2021. He could then replace Valtteri Bottas.

Not only Russell's score is doubtful, the fact that Valtteri Bottas is as good as Max Verstappen (90) is remarkable to say the least. Leclerc himself beat Vettel fairly easily last season, but still the German is ranked three ratings higher by Codemasters.
