Verstappen is done with lockdown: "I almost finished Netflix"

Max Verstappen has been more or less locked up in his apartment in Monaco since the outbreak of the coronavirus. This is partly because very strict measures have been taken in Monaco, but also because the drivers of Red Bull Racing themselves are extremely cautious. In the meantime, on the other hand, he wants to go outside again.
As soon as he entered the lockdown, Verstappen had brought almost all his training equipment to his apartment. Now that the measures in Monaco are a little smoother and the new season start is approaching, he now also has his personal trainer with him.
"I’ve got rowing and skiing machines and I’ve also got my Wattbike, bands and weights at home. I installed the bike in the living room so I have the TV on and it kills an hour – I’d say I’ve nearly finished Netflix. It’s good now that I can get out on the bike or go for a run to mix up the training and I’m feeling good.”
So the Dutchman has been inside long enough and so has racing. Especially the first few weeks he was very active in sim racing, but in the meantime he is longing for the real thing. "I'm excited, I am fit and ready for it. Nobody really knows who will be on top this year as it is such a strange start and it has been so long since testing. It’s going to be an exciting start for the fans at home", says Verstappen on RedBull.com.
