Ecclestone convinced he and Hamilton are gonna be okay

Bernie Ecclestone came into disrepute this week when he spoke in an interview for CNN about racism related to Formula 1. Especially his remark that black people are in many cases more racist than white people was wrong. Ecclestone says he regrets that his intentions behind that statement were not understood.
"The only real regret, I suppose, is that I didn't make myself clearer about some black people also being racist", says Ecclestone in an interview with GPfans.com. "There's no doubt about it they've probably good reason to be. I don't know why black people are singled out at times. There's a reason for it and I don't know what it is. The remark I made, I'm sorry wasn't taken in the way I was meaning it to be taken."
Ecclestone and Hamilton gonna be okay?
After his interview, Ecclestone was criticized by Lewis Hamilton, who was particularly angry about his statement that he did not understand that Hamilton had allowed himself to be driven crazy by some racist statements. Ecclestone, who has always had a good relationship with Hamilton in the past, thinks it will be okay between them.
"I'm sure we will. I'm absolutely sure we will. He sort of sounded off a little bit maybe without thinking, and he might have been in a mood where he thought he ought to say something."
