It's finally race week again. After seven months Formula 1 will finally start a race weekend again, but that will look different than normal. In the F1 Social Stint of GPblog.com you will find out what the drivers and teams are doing in preparation for the Austrian Grand Prix.
Hamilton also rides with a black helmet in 2020
Mercedes will race with a black livery in 2020 to fight racism with Lewis Hamilton. The British driver has now also adapted his helmet to the new design. Hamilton opted for a black helmet, with the purple shades that were already present in his original design.

The Safety Car has been given new colours
After Mercedes and McLaren had already shown new colours, the safety car also participated. #WeRaceAsOne stands prominently on the sides of the car.

This is the new outfit for the Mercedes drivers
Mercedes will be showing a black livery in 2020 and the outfits of the men at Mercedes are adapted to that. Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton will be in a completely black suit this whole season. What do you think of the new design?
