The first Grand Prix of 2020 is over, but it's racing week again. The driver will stay in Spielberg and prepare for the Steiermark Grand Prix at the same Red Bull Ring in Austria.

Beat the losers back

It has never happened in Formula 1 that a circuit is visited twice in a row for an official Grand Prix, but that has changed in the time of the coronavirus. Now there will be two races in Austria and two in England. The race will have to be renamed because twice the same name is not allowed.

During the Steiermark Grand Prix a number of teams will ache for revenge. With no less than eleven dropouts during the first race, there is enough to fight for. Red Bull Racing went as a favorite to Austria, but came out of the first race as a big loser with zero points. Can they retaliate and still get involved in the title fight?

Steiermark Grand Prix

In Austria the normal times that we are used to from a European Grand Prix are kept. The first free practice starts at 11:00, with the second free practice at 15:00. On Saturday the third free practice is at 12:00 and we see the qualification at 15:00. The lights for the start of the race go out on Sunday at 15:10, after which the drivers have two hours to complete the 71 laps.

All sessions of Formula 1 can of course be followed again this weekend on GPblog.com with a live report of the session in our live blog and of course the summaries and reactions after the session.
