Ecclestone and Marko advised Vettel to leak contract news to the media

Sebastian Vettel made sure that Ferrari had to bring out the news of his departure earlier. The German had leaked the information to the media on the advice of Helmut Marko. Bernie Ecclestone understands his choice.
"It's very important to him. Sebastian is an extremely talented driver and can't handle being treated unfairly. It's a good thing he's honest now. I talked to him the other day and I told him to just throw everything or table'', says the former Formula 1 boss to German Sport1.
Vettel asking for advice
Ecclestone does not agree with Ross Brawn that Vettel was distracted by his uncertain future during the Austrian Grand Prix. ''That had nothing to do with it. Lewis Hamilton wasn't distracted, but he didn't have his best weekend either'', concluded Ecclestone.
Where many will say that Vettel was selfish, Marko wants to get rid of that quickly. ''The fact that Vettel has waited so long to bring out the news shows what a team player he really is'', the Austrian said to Red Bull's ServusTV.
