There's rain in Spielberg! F3 race continues
- GPblog.com
In the run-up to this weekend it was already expected to rain at the circuit in Spielberg. On Friday it even became clear that there is a chance of cancelling VT3 and qualifying. Even before the first race, namely the F3 feature race, rain is reported on the Red Bull Ring.
The first expectation is that it will rain softly, but that thunderstorms will come over the track in the course of the day. The F3 race will start and thus gives a good indication of the possibility of a VT3 or even a qualification on the Red Bull Ring.
Expectation of the teams
It is still unclear to what extent there will be action on the track today. The F3 race will in any case start, but the question is whether the other classes will be able to drive all session today. The rain is already getting heavier and from VT3 thunderstorms are expected in Spielberg.
The rain is getting heavier already, this is going to be some start but I wonder if we'll even get all 40 laps in of this @FIAFormula3 race. Definitely one worth watching - might be all you get today! Vesti on pole from Beckmann, Sargeant, Piastri and Porchaire #F3
