Charles Leclerc is to go to stewards after qualification!

Ferrari's not doing well this weekend. After Charles Leclerc only qualified eleventh, the Monegasque also has to visit the stewards for two incidents.

For the time being Charles Leclerc will start the Steiermark Grand Prix from P11, but it is possible that some grid penalties will be added. The driver of Ferrari has to pass the stewards at six o'clock to account for his actions, according to The Race.

The first incident investigated by the race management took place in Q2. The Monegasque is accused of blocking Daniil Kvyat of AlphaTauri at turn nine and ten. As a result, the Russian may not have been able to make it to Q3.

Rules broken during red flag

The second incident for which the Monegasque is accountable happened during Q1. Towards the end of the first session Antonio Giovinazzi had to stop his car in a dangerous position, which resulted in a red flag. Apparently Leclerc only broke the control line during the red flag.

This could make the weekend even more challenging for Leclerc and Ferrari. These potential problems come on top of the already disappointing performance of the car, which hasn't gotten any faster with the new upgrades.
