Wolff full of praise for Hamilton after victory in Austria
Toto Wolff is proud of what Mercedes has achieved this week in Austria. The chief of the German race stable praised Lewis Hamilton for his recovery after his first race of the season.
"We can be very happy with this weekend. It was great work from everyone," Wolff told Sky Sports.
The team boss at Mercedes is very pleased with how Hamilton bounced back after last weekend.
"I think everything has been said about Lewis. Everyone needs a weekend like last week. He has worked hard last week to recover and when he is in that mode he is unbeatable."
Mercedes solve their issues
Where Mercedes had a lot of problems with the car last week on the Red Bull Ring, that seemed to be resolved this weekend.
"It is very good that we won here twice. The gearbox had been repaired, the team solved that in a couple of days. The suspension wasn't one hundred percent safe, we have continued to monitor that," says the Austrian.
Next week the Formula 1 will return to the Hungaroring in Budapest.
"Hungary is very different from Spielberg. We can't wait to benchmark ourselves there."
