Mercedes dominates Formula 1. A not too unfamiliar image for many Formula 1 fans. And last Sunday it was no different. Lewis Hamilton won the GP of Styria and teammate Valtteri Bottas finished second. Both at a comfortable distance from the competition.

Team boss Toto Wolff was naturally extremely enthusiastic about the course of the past two weekends: "We put a lot of effort into finding reliable solutions between the races and it was an impressive team effort to deliver them on time. That was reflected in the strong work of the team on the track, which ultimately rewarded us all with a 1-2 on Sunday," says Wolff to media.daimler.com.

Wolff remains cautious

Despite the good results Wolff is still cautious in his expectations for next weekend in Hungary: "With two victories in two races it may seem as if the picture is clear, but that is far from the truth. We have only raced on one track so far and it is far too early to make any assumptions".

In addition, Wolff had a very good word left for his top driver Lewis Hamilton. He even called the qualifying lap of the Briton "one of the best I've ever seen".
