Bottas challenges Hamilton: "This year a better battle for the title."
- GPblog.com
After a somewhat less weekend during the first GP of Austria, Lewis Hamilton was dominant in the second weekend. He won the GP at a generous distance from his teammate Valtteri Bottas. Something we have seen before...
Last season Bottas was also strong at the beginning of the season, but Hamilton fought back well throughout the season. Hamilton won the championship fairly easily in the end. However, Bottas is convinced that this season is different: "I know Lewis had a strong weekend (GP Styria). He has done well. But, based on last weekend, I know what I am capable of. I really feel a lot of improvements in my driving style compared to last year. That's why I'm sure we're going to have a better fight for the title this year," said Bottas against crash.net.
Bottas sure about his case?
Despite his lead in the World Cup standings and his improvements over last year, Bottas will take a good look in the mirror to be sure. To find out what went wrong during the second GP: "For some things I'm going to take a look in the mirror: Why the second GP was a little harder and I may have missed a good fight with Lewis".
