Verstappen does not see Racing Point as a great danger: "We should be in front"

Racing Point seemed to pose a serious threat to Red Bull Racing during the second race on the Red Bull Ring. At least for Alexander Albon, who Sergio Perez only just managed to shake off. However, Max Verstappen is not afraid that this will happen much more often.
During the press conference on the Thursday before the Hungarian Grand Prix the Dutchman is asked if he now has a competitor with the pink Mercedes. "Personally I don't think so", he told Motorsport.com among others. "I think they will be fast on one lap, but in general we should be in front of them."
Verstappen has no problem with 'pink Mercedes'
Verstappen does think there will be some circuits where the Racing Point will be very strong again, but on average the Red Bull will always be there. So he doesn't share the opinion of team boss Christian Horner, who said earlier that all teams should be afraid of Racing Point. The fast car of the pink team was reason for Renault to protest against it. In any case, the copycat behaviour of Racing Point doesn't bother Verstappen.
"Well, if you can't get it right yourself, why not copy? If you can, why not?" Whether it's indeed allowed, remains to be seen. At the moment Renault's protest is still being dealt with by the FIA.
