Williams comes with 'powerful' upgrade in Silverstone

Williams says the team will arrive at Silverstone with a 'powerful' upgrade to the FW43 before the start of the British 'double header'. The team has been alternating between the two cars over the past few weeks, with George Russell being allowed to test new parts last weekend in Hungary.
Quick in qualifying
Russell showed the potential of the new upgrade in qualifying when he secured a twelfth place on the grid. With this he started Sunday ahead of Red Bull Racing driver Alexander Albon, who started the race from thirteenth place.
Difficulties during the races
The team is still struggling with the speed in the race, but the low fuel performance so far is encouraging according to the team. From Silverstone both cars will start with the upgrade, but the team from Grove cannot yet say exactly how big the advantage will be.
"They [Russell and Nicholas Latifi] will both be furnished with it in the next race at Silverstone. But I couldn’t put a number on it", says head of vehicle performance of Williams Dave Robson against Motorsport.com. It will involve both mechanical and aerodynamic upgrades.
