McLaren is pleased to report that it has reached the limit of two million followers on the social media platform Twitter. How popular is the English race stable compared to other teams?

On the grid the differences between Mercedes and Ferrari are huge, on Twitter the two superpowers hardly escape each other. It is even Ferrari that is the service on the platform, even if it is very close. With 2,679 million followers, Scuderia Ferrari has the largest support base. Mercedes has 2.652 million followers. Ferrari is clearly leaning on the successes of the past, as the Italian race stable is currently bivouacing in the painful middle leg of the constructors' championship.

The Red Bull of Max Verstappen occupies third place with 2,547 million followers. McLaren (2 million) and Renault (1.2 million) also belong to the club of millions. The other five teams have considerably less supporters.

Haas is the team with the least followers. The race stables of Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen have just over 417,000 followers. Number last in the Williams race classification occupies a neat spot in the middle spot (993,000). The British formation also looks like it was in the past, when, among other things, seven manufacturer's titles were won. In recent years Williams has experienced a freefall.
