During Saturday's qualifying session ahead of the 2020 British Grand Prix, Max Verstappen did not manage to improve on his 2019 time around Silverstone. On Saturday the Limburger set a time of 1:25.335, one second slower than Lewis Hamilton's pole time. Verstappen's time last year was 1:25.276.
The winners
The three cars driving with the Mercedes engine have all gone ahead, as have the two Renault teams. Williams is even more than a second faster than last season.
The losers
Red Bull Racing lost 0.049 seconds compared to last year, making it the best of the losers. AlphaTauri, which also runs on a Honda engine, is 0.002 seconds faster. The big losers are all teams that drive the engine of Ferrari. Ferrari itself is the least of them with a difference of 0.225 seconds on last year's time. Haas is doing worst: The team is 0.811 seconds slower than 2019.
