Tanabe positive: "Everything in place for another good race"

Honda managed to qualify for the British Grand Prix with only one car in the top ten. Max Verstappen will start from the second row of the grid. No resounding result, but still Toyoharu Tanabe of Honda holds out good hope for Sunday's race.
One will have to accept that Mercedes is simply too fast on this circuit, Verstappen said in the press conference following the qualifying session. It is a realisation that also seems to prevail with Honda boss Tanabe. It could not be better than this. "Max is third behind the two Mercedes, so everything is in place for him to have another good race," said the Japanese boss.
Kvyat in the points would be a special race
Of course, he doesn't only hope for a good race for Verstappen, but also the other drivers with a Honda engine. He says they should be able to get points. In the case of Daniil Kvyat, he will have to come from far away. Due to a grid penalty, he starts the race from nineteenth place. Gasly and Albon start from P11 and 12.
"Both teams have shown good race pace in Friday's free practice and our aim is to get all four cars into the points tomorrow"
