Vettel after tricky qualifying: "I struggled to get into my rhythm"

After a terrible Friday, Saturday did not turn out to be the Saturday Sebastian Vettel he had hoped for. The Ferrari driver will, therefore, have a difficult race ahead of him on Sunday.
In the run-up to qualifying, Sebastian Vettel didn't have much time to prepare. With technical problems in the first and second practice sessions, he had to hope that the setup for the car was good for qualifying. During Q3 he only managed to grab the time for P9, but even that lap was taken away because he went over track limits, resulting in a tenth place on the grid.
"I struggled to find the rhythm. The car wasn't that bad, but it didn't suit me very well. Yesterday it was difficult with so few laps we drove and I only had this morning to get the rhythm", explains the German to Sky Sports F1. "Nevertheless, I will do everything I can to get the best result tomorrow and we'll see what happens".
An awkward starting position
Not only the starting position is unfavourable for Vettel, but also the tyre on which he starts. The drivers behind him will start on the medium tyre, while the German has to start on the soft compound. "It's going to be difficult. Starting on the soft tyre is not ideal, but it is what it is. We will try to get the maximum out of it", concludes Vettel.
