Verstappen: "Hulkenberg should actually drive full-time in F1"
For Max Verstappen, qualifying for the second Grand Prix at Silverstone was not quite expected. The Red Bull Racing driver was far behind Mercedes and this became clear again. The Dutchman has already indicated that the race on Sunday is likely to be lonely, as he is too fast for the midfield, but does not yet have enough speed for Mercedes. Nevertheless, Verstappen is happy with his qualifying.
"First of all, I am happy for Hulkenberg. He should have been on the grid full-time this year and I hope he can find a seat in F1 next year. For tomorrow I especially hope that I can get a good start on the grid. The harder tyre this weekend was the medium tyre last weekend, so I don't expect it to be very bad," the Red Bull driver explains after qualifying.
"The first stint will probably go better. Of course it depends on whether there will be safety cars, but we are a good start. We have to make sure we have a good start and I don't expect too many problems with the cars. back to me," Verstappen concludes
