Bottas content with P2 start in Barcelona
In a warm qualifying session it was Mercedes that once again dominated the front row of the grid. Lewis Hamilton was able to put his car in front of Valtteri Bottas. For Bottas, second place isn't bad and offers enough opportunities for the race on Sunday.
"I knew it was going be exciting with Lewis. I've been having trouble with sector three all day. It was getting better and better, but it wasn't good enough. It's annoying, but he did good. As a team we have the first row of the grid again," the Finn explained after qualifying.
"The start will be my best chance. On Friday I saw that my long runs are competitive, so I have the speed, but the start will be my best chance. I'm trying to be first in turn one, believe me."
