It was again a difficult afternoon for Alexander Albon during the Spanish Grand Prix. The British Thai had a lot of problems with the tyres on the hot Spanish circuit.

During the race Alexander Albon had to go in early to change his tyres to a hard set. "We tried it on the hard tyres but to be honest we had to pit at that moment because the tyres were completely worn out. I didn't have any tyres during every stint."

"I don't know what it is exactly, but it's the opposite of Silverstone. I had the same as during qualifying, only a lot worse", says the driver of Red Bull Racing to Sky Sports.

RB16 not the problem

The next question is what Albon is going to do to solve his tyre management problems. "To be honest, it hasn't been a problem this year. I don't want to blame the car, because there's a car on P2. It is difficult to understand, but we need to look at the data and find out what is causing it and find a solution for the next race", concludes Albon.
