Sebastian Vettel is a peculiar driver in the modern world of Formula 1. He doesn't use social media and has been managing his own business from the beginning of his career. When negotiating with teams, there is no business at the table. Why does he do that anyway?

"That's a good question," he said in front of Sky Germany's camera last weekend. The Germans are wondering if it would be convenient for him to do everything himself. "Maybe it could help here and there, but this is how I've always done it," said the four-time world champion.

Vettel likes to be in his own circle

According to Vettel that 'being alone' is also a bit exaggerated. He does have a group of people around him that he trusts and also asks for advice. The fact that he lives in his own world helps him, according to Vettel, also in difficult situations. Opinions from outside hardly penetrate into his private sphere. "When things don't go well, I'm the one who's most cranky about it."

As a fiduciary of his own, Vettel must have had a busy period in recent months. It came as quite a surprise that Ferrari put him aside and so he had to look for one of the few remaining seats. According to the German press he announces at the Belgian Grand Prix that he will be competing for Aston Martin in 2021.
