Prior to the race weekend at Spa-Francorchamps, rain was predicted for most of the session, including the race. Although there were some heavy showers in between, it now looks as if the whole weekend will be finished dry.

According to the latest predictions, on Sunday afternoon there will be no rain in the air on or around the track. Buienradar indicates for neighboring Malmedy that the chance of showers until five o'clock this afternoon is zero percent, with the sun still shining for half the time.

Rain in the evening

However, there is the chance of rain falling this evening, after the race has been completed. Given the unpredictable character of the Ardennes, there is a chance that one of these showers may occur earlier this afternoon.

For the time being, however, one walks around the paddock in a bright sunshine. The F2 race on Sunday morning also took place under almost perfect conditions. It was won by Ferrari talent Robert Shwartzman.
