After every weekend the official website of Formula 1 comes with the 'Power Rankings'. In these, a panel of five experts judge all drivers after the Grand Prix weekend. Pierre Gasly and Carlos Sainz received the maximum score this week after respectively a first and second place on the Monza circuit.

Lance Stroll also achieved a podium place and will be rewarded with an 8.4. Had the Racing Point driver known a better restart, he might have been able to compete for victory. Lewis Hamilton had to start all over again after a stop-and-go penalty from the back, 30 seconds behind. However, the British driver managed to finish in seventh place; an 8.2.

Verstappen scores lower than his average

Max Verstappen scored less high than usual in Italy. The Dutchman did not get further than a 6.6 and is therefore not even in the top-ten 'best' drivers of last weekend. The Red Bull Racing driver does maintain a second place and leader Lewis Hamilton is certainly not out of sight yet.

Gasly maintains third place in the general classification. Behind that Sainz and team mate Norris change positions. Alexander Albon falls out of the top-ten. His place is taken by Daniil Kvyat. Click here for the complete classification.
