Albon thinks he could've improved his time: "But I am happy with P4"
Alexander Albon hasn't had an easy time in qualifying this season. On the Mugello circuit, however, the Red Bull Racing driver has put his best foot forward, allowing him to start alongside teammate Max Verstappen on the second-row of the grid.
During the second run in Q3, Esteban Ocon spun off the track, which resulted in a yellow flag. The drivers behind the Frenchman, therefore, had to abort their lap. Could Albon have bettered his time? “You always feel you can do better. I think my first run in Q3 was okay, but there was some margin in a few places. I'm in P4, so I am happy with the result," says the driver told Sky Sports F1.
First podium for Albon?
“A podium would be nice. It's a long run to turn and I haven't been the greatest off the line, but we'll see what we've got. It's going to be hard overtaking here, but the degradation is looking good. We can get some clear air here and get close [which is good]," the British Thai said.
