Max Verstappen: "You can barely race now"

Jos and Max Verstappen look forward to the cars of 2022 with mixed feelings. The two Dutch think that from that year on, racing could become a bit more interesting.

The conversation turns to the cars of 2022. Due to a large number of new rules, the cars will look very different that year than they do now. The rules should make it easier to follow and overtake cars in the dirty air. This will probably reduce the speed of the cars a little.

Max sees advantages and disadvantages in the new rules. "Although our cars will be fewer from 2022 onwards, we also want exciting races. It must be possible to catch up. That would be nice, because now you can barely race," concludes the young Red Bull superstar.
