The return to the Nürburgring this weekend, is to a circuit that many drivers are looking forward to. Many of today's Formula 1 drivers have never even driven a Formula 1 car on the German circuit.
For the first time
One of the drivers who has not yet been here with Formula 1 is Charles Leclerc. "At the beginning of the season I never expected to race here", says the Monegask in the preview of Ferrari. "I would like to get on the track and see how the corners are with the level of downforce that these cars have".
The weather in Germany
What will the weather bring in Germany this weekend, it is already a popular topic of conversation. Leclerc also thinks that the weather will be an important factor. "I remember from previous races there that the clouds are never far away in the Eifel. Circumstances can change from one moment to the next", said the Ferrari driver. But that's not all that matters at the Nürburgring. "Good tyre management will also be an important factor. Let's see what we can make of it".
