Hulkenberg keen to take on Verstappen at Red Bull!

Nico Hulkenberg is busy fixing an F1 seat for next year. During the current season he has been able to join Racing Point as a replacement driver three times, and has achieved mostly good results. One of his options for next year could be Red Bull Racing.
Red Bull is the best option
Last week he replaced Lance Stroll, who fell ill just before qualifying at the Nürburgring. Hulkenberg was summoned at the last minute to qualify and race, without having completed a free practice session. On Sunday he drove from 20th to a respectable eighth place. According to Hulkenberg, this result increased his chances of a seat for next year.
"This weekend has helped, and put my name back on the map," Hulkenberg said in an interview with Motorsport-Magazin.com. He wants to return to the sport, but not at all costs. "I would like to continue, but not at any price."
There would have been interviews with Haas and Alfa Romeo, but Red Bull Racing could also be an option. They haven't signed a second driver in addition to Max Verstappen. Hulkenberg is happy with that. "Red Bull is the most attractive option. It is the most competitive car," he says. He also thinks he is in Red Bull's sights by now. "I wasn't always there this year, but I have been. I must have made a bit of an impression."
He himself dares to take on the challenge with Max Verstappen. "On my best days I can get close to him. Max is an absolute killer when it comes to speed, if not the fastest. It's a huge task to have him as a teammate. I would like to measure up to him. We'll see if it comes to that."
