Ricciardo on Hamilton: 'Easier said than done'

After the Eifel Grand Prix, Daniel Ricciardo was finally back on the podium. Not only for himself but also for his team Renault. Two steps higher was Hamilton who, with 91 victories, equalled Michael Schumacher's record.
Gift from Mick Schumacher
Immediately after the race, Mick Schumacher handed Hamilton, live on television, a helmet that his father had used in his last season in Formula 1 (2012). Ricciardo was impressed by the gift Hamilton received. "It is one of the coolest gifts I’ve ever seen in the sport," he said on Motorsport.com.
Great respect
Ricciardo is not only impressed by the gift, but also by Hamilton's achievements. "His career now has been well over a decade in the sport and to keep coming back and to show that level of consistency at the front, that's not easy," said the Australian about Hamilton. "You can have a package and a car to do it, but it's doing it every weekend when the lights go out. It's easier said than done. Certainly big respect.”
