Doornbos: "That's the most embarrassing thing that can happen as a driver"

Lance Stroll has not really been doing well lately. At Mugello, Sochi and Portimao the Canadian did not cross the finish line and in Germany he did not participate because he felt unwell. Robert Doornbos has criticized the Canadian driver describing the incident with his jack man as"embarrassing".
In the video column on Ziggo Sport , the former F1 rider takes a look at last weekend's Grand Prix and of course Lance Stroll was also mentioned. Doornbos: "In the end you just have to show the performance. The chances you get in a good car, because that shows Perez, who finished beautifully in fourth place in Portimao and yesterday [Sunday] again a nice top six.
And then you have Lance Stroll, who actually wasted his front wing quite uselessly in the first lap. That's why he lies last, then he enters the pits and then he just skittles his front jack man upside down. That's the most embarrassing thing that can happen as a driver.
"If you're fighting for the lead now, or for points, I understand that the adrenaline is high and that you might slow down by about ten centimeters. But look, he just braked himself a meter and a half."
