Peter Windsor saw that Max Verstappen had a very difficult start at Istanbul Park. However, the Dutchman recovered well and then got stuck behind Sebastian Vettel. In doing so, Verstappen almost spun, which not everyone seemed to have noticed during the race.

"Max Verstappen had a sort of Mugello stutter of the line. He couldn’t get any revs was swamped by half the field," Windsor analyses on his own YouTube channel. The Dutchman was able to limit the damage in the first corner and thus still had the prospect of victory.

"The big moment from Max when he was doing his great recovery race from that terrible start, was when right behind Sebastian Vettel going through the ultra-quick kink. You’re talking seventh gear here. He is right behind him, there is no DRS.

"So it’s very important he’s as close as possible and then pulls out and tries to get him under braking and he lost it on an incredible moment and yet Max Verstappen was still there at the end of the race. Some absolutely fabulous race driving from him," said Windsor. See below the moment the analyst is talking about.
