According to various media reports, Sergio Perez has scheduled a press conference in Bahrain on Monday evening. The future of the Mexican is still not clear, so it remains to be seen what will be said in this press conference.

Perez still hasn't found a seat for 2021. Sebastian Vettel will replace him with the team that will be Aston Martin Racing. He will drive alongside Lance Stroll, who will keep his seat with the team.

Speculation

There has been a lot of speculation around Perez for months now. He would be a big contender to change Alexander Albon at Red Bull Racing, but his name was also mentioned with Haas and Williams. The latter team has recently announced it will continue with George Russell and Nicholas Latifi, so that option is not possible. Haas hasn't announced yet who will drive for the team in 2021, but Perez doesn't seem to be in their plans.

So it has just been announced that the Mexican has scheduled a press conference for Monday evening. It is not known what he will discuss or tell, but his future will undoubtedly be discussed. The press conference could also be to discuss his recent excellent form with Meixcan media.
