Max Verstappen expects less problems with the tyres this race weekend compared to last. The Dutchman thinks the drivers will suffer less wear and tear than last weekend.

Last week it was difficult for many drivers to stay on the same tyre for a long time. Many drivers stopped twice and the hard tyre was also used a lot. The soft tyre simply wore far too fast to be competitive on.

"Will be a little better here"

Olav Mol asks Max Verstappen in an interview for the Formula 1 café of Ziggo Sport what that will be like this weekend. "It will be a bit better than on the normal circuit, just because there are fewer corners and fewer slow corners. So that's a bit better for traction of course, because here tyres wear out a lot on traction through slow corners. And there is only one really very slow corner here. So it's a bit better, but they still wear out quite a bit.

"As far as speed was concerned, it was pretty okay, I wasn't completely satisfied, especially on the short run. There were a bit of problems with the balance at the exit of turn 1 and through turn 2. In turn 4 I also had a bit of understeer, so there are still some things we need to improve. But the longruns looked okay on their own. But that's usually the case and then on Sunday..." concludes Verstappen.
