Small bright spot for Red Bull after a disappointing day in Bahrain

The Sakhir Grand Prix was disappointing for Red Bull Racing, but yet again there was a small highlight. The Austrian racing team was once again the fastest at a pit stop on the Bahrain International Circuit. Alexander Albon's pit stop was completed in less than two seconds.
With a time of 1.90 seconds Red Bull came close to its own world record set last year at the Brazilian Grand Prix. Only eight hundredths of a second was this pit crew away from a new fastest time ever.
Mercedes takes most points
In the end Mercedes was able to collect more points for the battle for the classification in the DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award. The world champion took 28 points and since Max Verstappen didn't make a pitstop because of his quick outing, Red Bull got stuck on 25 points.
However, this did not have any consequences for the ranking. The Milton Keynes based team of Christian Horner and Helmut Marko has been assured of first place for weeks now. The difference with Mercedes is more than 200 points.
