Wolff urges caution with George Russell performance

Despite a gaffe from Mercedes, George Russell made a big impression during the weekend of the Sakhir Grand Prix. However, team boss Toto Wolff believes his performance should not be exaggerated.
Hamilton remains the benchmark according to Wolff
According to Wolff, Lewis Hamilton is still the benchmark, emphasising the great role he has played in taking the team to new heights.
"Hamilton wins so much because he is the best driver in the best car at the moment. We're very humble about that, because it's not natural to provide him with the best car," Wolff said to Motorsport.com.
"It's never just the driver or the car that makes the difference, it's the combination of the two. Lewis is still the benchmark, he is the best driver in the field. He has proven that with all his records."
"We shouldn't get carried away with the phenomenal performance of a new kid with a bright future. Lewis is still the benchmark," Wolff said.
