Sir Jackie Stewart is recovering from a planned knee operation. The Formula 1 legend has reportedly received a new knee in an operation earlier this month.

The three-time F1 world champion, Jackie Stewart, drove Formula 1 between 1965 and 1973. In his final years the Brit was the most successful, with a world title in 1969, 1971 and 1973. For these achievements the Briton was given the title 'Sir'. Stewart won all his titles for the British brand of Tyrell, even though it was under the name Matra International in 1969.
According to Racefans.net, Stewart will make a full recovery from his knee surgery and is reported to start working for Formula 1 as early as March. Stewart is thus closely involved in the projects of Rolex and Heineken around Formula 1. On Sunday, Stewart could be seen from his bed, where he involved in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2020 which was won by Lewis Hamilton.
