Tsunoda first on track at Imola for AlphaTauri in 2021

Not only Ferrari are testing their new driver Carlos Sainz this week, but AlphaTauri is also doing so. The Faenza based team is at Imola for a two-day test. Yuki Tsunoda gets plenty of time to get used to the team and Formula 1.

Tsunoda gets lots of time in AlphaTauri car
This is not the first time Tsunoda has driven a Formula 1 car. In 2020, he tested for AlphaTauri at Imola. This took place just before it was announced that he would take over the seat from Daniil Kvyat in 2021.
At the moment, as was announced, the 2018 car is being driven. The 2021 car will reportedly also be driven during a filming day sometime in the next few days, but that does not seem to be the case at the moment. It would also be very early to have this car on the track.
