Jordan: 'Mercedes dominance is a problem for Formula 1'

Former Formula One team boss Eddie Jordan thinks the sport has a problem with Mercedes' dominance, and fears the team will have little opposition this year either.
Difficult situation for Formula 1
"The sport is in a difficult situation because nobody can blame Mercedes," Jordan told BBC Scotland. "They are just doing better than the rest."
Jordan thinks Mercedes will also be dominant this year. "Racing Point won a race, which was great from Sergio Perez. And Max Verstappen won the last race, but that shouldn't make people think the championship is wide open."
"Mercedes has the best people and the best engine, so how can they not win the championship? I think that's a problem. It's hard to find the right sponsors, and you can't just compete with that," Jordan said.
