Norris already has feedback for the team after first laps in the MCL35M

McLaren were the first to present their car for 2021 on Monday and it was up to Lando Norris to make the first metres in the MCL35M on Tuesday. On a wet Silverstone, he can't say much about the car's performance yet, but he is happy to be back in it.
"It was nice," Norris begins his interview with Sky Sports. "Wet and difficult to get an initial feel, but lovely to be back in a race car and go to the limit. A bit of oversteer and understeer, I like that. I've had some comments about how comfortable I am and how the car handles, but luckily I don't have many complaints."
Norris expects fierce battle
McLaren finished third in the Constructors' title standings last season and will be hoping to continue the upward trend of recent years. With a Mercedes engine in the back, the team could now aim for Red Bull Racing. Norris is cautious, however, believing the midfield will be as close as last year.
"It doesn't matter to me who I fight with, as long as it's at the front of the field, then I'm happy. It's too early to really make any statements about it, but if last year is any indication, we're fighting with everyone a little bit."
