Great news: Grosjean to drive first IndyCar test today
- GPblog.com
Good news on Tuesday afternoon: Romain Grosjean has stepped into a car for the first time since his crash in Bahrain. In the United States, the Frenchman is taking part in his first official test in the IndyCar.
The former Haas F1 driver is also wearing a special helmet. His children had designed a helmet that he was due to wear at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last season in Formula 1. After his major crash in Bahrain that proved impossible. Now Grosjean is wearing it again, although more than two months later.
At first glance, Grosjean's hands seem to be almost fully recovered.
