Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will drive the RB16B for Red Bull Racing during a film day at Circuit Silverstone on Wednesday. The 2021 car can be driven a maximum of 100km, but there will also be laps of the RB15. Alexander Albon will also drive as test and reserve driver.
"Alex will also be on hand, gathering feedback and driving an RB15 as the Team gears up for the new campaign," writes Red Bull's official website. "As well as driving an RB15 during the filming day Alex will be heavily involved in sifting through the feedback on the RB16B from Max and Sergio."
Albon in the simulator
With the data collected on the Austrian racing team new car, Alexander Albon will be able to work in the simulator over the next few weeks. "This will give him plenty to work with as he prepares to help car development through the 2021 season."
The RB16B is allowed to do a maximum of sixteen laps at the British circuit. This does not apply to the RB15, as this car is now two years old.
