Leclerc positive: "2021 Ferrari looks promising"

After a disappointing season in 2020, Ferrari hopes to climb back to the top in 2021. The first two days of the pre-season test have been completed and the drivers are cautiously positive. Charles Leclerc thinks the car looks promising so far.
Leclerc drove 73 laps on the second day of testing in Bahrain. "My impression of the car was good," Crash.net quotes. "Yesterday we finished the whole programme in the morning. The conditions are very difficult. It is very warm and windy. So it's difficult to make a comparison with last year, it's all relative to the progress of other teams."
He continued: "It looks promising, but we don't know anything for sure until the first qualifying session. We've been working hard on that, and the first data we've collected matches our expectations so that's positive."
"It's difficult to give feedback on the car in these conditions though, but it's good to see that it's been worked on and that the data matches what we have from Maranello," Leclerc finished.
