Hamilton thinking of starting a family: "This is the start of something big"

As a Formula 1 driver you are forced to be a true globetrotter. This is especially true for Lewis Hamilton, who spends a lot of his free time in the United States. After having travelled the world for thirteen years the world champion now longs to settle down somewhere.
Currently Hamilton, like most of his colleagues, 'lives' in Monaco. The tax haven is his base between Grands Prix, but he says he spends most of his time in hotels. With an eye to the future he therefore bought a villa in London a few years ago.
Luxury villa in London to be renovated
"When I move back to England I will finally have a permanent place," Hamilton is quoted as saying by Motorsport-Total.com. "Finally a place that I can call my own instead of hotels. That's not really nice because we spend so much time there every year. I think this is the start of something big."
Hamilton has been known as a coveted bachelor for some years, but by now he has reached an age where he is thinking about starting a family. The villa in London is then an ideal place "where my family can visit and where I might be able to start a family myself in the future."
