Bad luck for the public, organizers turn away spectators at Spanish Grand Prix
- GPblog.com
This weekend is all about the Imola Grand Prix. In a few weeks, the circus will move on to Spain. In the middle of May, they will race there as well.
The hope was that fans were allowed to be present. Unfortunately, the organization now makes an end to this by announcing that no fans can come because of coronavirus. "Given this situation, the management of the circuit has proceeded to notify the Formula One Management Limited that the FORMULA 1 ARAMCO GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2021 will have to be run without spectators," the organisation Management announced on its website.
Coronavirus figures seem to be on the rise again in the country lately. Therefore, the organization is taking a precautionary approach. Fans will not be welcomed. However, fans will be refunded for the number of tickets purchased.
Good memories
The Dutch will have good memories of racing in Spain. Max Verstappen won his first victory in Formula 1. And that while he was only for the first time in the car of Red Bull.
The 2021 #F1 #SpanishGP 2021 will be staged on 7, 8 and 9 May behind closed doors, within the framework of the public health measures for the containment of the COVID-19 pandemic.
