Power Rankings: Norris stays ahead of Verstappen

Not Max Verstappen or Lewis Hamilton, but Lando Norris is at the top of the Power Rankings during the second Formula 1 weekend. According to the six-man jury, the Englishman had the best day in Imola.
Norris had an excellent qualifying by achieving P3, but was forced to start seventh after he exceeded track limits. He then spent some time in second place behind Verstappen in the race, but was forced to give up to the much faster Mercedes car of Lewis Hamilton. Nevertheless, he ended up on the podium finishing third.
The jury of the official website of the Formula 1 rewarded him for the excellent race with a 9.3 and a positive rating: "His race recovery was nothing short of spectacular, as he worked his way up to P2 and brilliantly eked out the life of his soft tires, while there was no shame in failing to hold off Hamilton in the closing stages, as he came home third for his second career stage. Brilliant. "
Verstappen in second place
Race winner Verstappen finished second in the standings with a 9.0. The Dutchman started on P3 but was already first by the first corner. "Having come so close to victory in Bahrain, this was a fabulous race performance from Verstappen, who was punchy into the first corner with Hamilton and never headed from there, eventually crossing the line 22s up the road from his Mercedes rival." Charles Leclerc (8.3), Hamilton (8.0) and Carlos Sainz (7.5) completed the top five.
