Yuki Tsunoda recently moved from England to Italy. The AlphaTauri driver had to move closer to the factory in Faenza and team principal Franz Tost immediately gave him a busy schedule. Although Tost doesn't think it is too bad.

After a strong performance during his first Grand Prix in Bahrain, the results in the four races after that were disappointing. Enough reasons for the 21-year old rookie to move closer to the factory of his team. Tost gives an insight into the new AlphaTauri driver's schedule.

Tight schedule given by Tost

"His daily routine is quite easy," said Tost at Motorsport.com. "He has to be in the gym around 9:00, until about 9:30, 10:00." This is followed by about an hour of working with his engineers and the Japanese also receives English lessons in the early afternoon.

When that's over the morning is actually turned around. Because after English class, Tsunoda is back with his engineers and he spends the last two hours of the day in the gym. "After that, he should go to bed. Simple," Tost said.

Move seems to be bearing fruit

Tost is happy with Tsunoda's move and thinks the driver himself should be happy with it too: "It's a gift to move from England to Italy. You have nice weather there, a fantastic kitchen and the people are nice." So far the move seems to have helped, as Tsunoda finished seventh in Baku, picking up points for the second time this season.
