Marko focused on Austria: 'More realistic for Verstappen to win twice there'

Red Bull Racing head to France as the leader in the Formula 1 championship, but Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are not seen as the favourites for victory at Paul Ricard. Helmut Marko looks ahead, and hopes for two wins for Verstappen in Austria.
Mercedes have struggled in Monaco and Azerbaijan with only seven points from two races. On a real circuit, Mercedes will be desperate to hit back, so Red Bull will have to brace themselves. Marko doesn't feel his team will be beaten, but he's not confident either.
Marko focuses on Austria
''It will be very exciting between those two. It is a circuit with its own characteristics. It will depend completely on the circumstances of the day who is the favourite," he said to RTL. The Austrian himself is already looking forward to the races in his own country. ''I hope Max wins twice in Austria, that seems more realistic.''
Honda will bring a new engine to Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri this weekend, but Marko isn't sure if it will be used. At Red Bull there were no problems so far, but at AlphaTauri there were. According to Marko the outcome of the investigation will determine if a new engine will be used in France.
