Szafnauer on Vettel: 'Sebastian's memory of a lap is remarkable'

Sebastian Vettel is proving that he is the right driver for Aston Martin. Not only on the track, but also off the track. Otmar Szafnauer is impressed with the detailed feedback the German can give after each session.
Particularly good memory of Vettel
"Sebastian’s recollection of a lap is pretty remarkable. He remembers every little detail of every little corner, probably the most detail that I've heard from a driver," Szafnauer told Motorsport.com.
The Aston Martin team boss is happy to have a driver of Vettel's calibre. "So in that regard we do get a little bit more detail from Seb than we have in the past from the [other] drivers," Szafnauer continued. According to him, the podium finish in Baku was the result of a combination of several factors.
To the podium for the first time in Baku with Aston Martin
"It is never one thing. He's getting used to the car more, he's getting used to the team more. It was probably a circuit that favoured us a little bit, and the circumstances of the race did help," said Szafnauer. In Baku, Vettel managed to drive from eleventh place and eventually cross the finish line second with Aston Martin.
