For Max Verstappen, the French Grand Prix will be the opportunity to make up for lost points in Azerbaijan. The Dutchman lost the lead in the race due to a blowout, but will be hoping to keep Lewis Hamilton behind him in Paul-Ricard. In The Build-Up Verstappen will let us know what his expectations are for the French Grand Prix.
"I think yesterday was very positive for us. Of course it rained so the track will feel different, but I'm confident we can get a good result. It won't be easy of course. That makes it exciting, of course," Verstappen explained.
On the podium together with Perez
"Hopefully we can get a good result today," said Verstappen. Teammate Sergio Perez won the race in Azerbaijan and hopes to get another good result in France from P4, together with his Dutch teammate at Red Bull Racing."That would be great," he said.
"That's also the goal for today, to get as many points as possible as a team. We do have a challenge ahead of us, but hopefully we'll give a great race to the fans. It's really nice to have them back here," Perez concluded.
