Marko on next weekend: 'Then we can exercise more dominance'

Red Bull Racing performed excellently on Sunday afternoon. While Max Verstappen took the race win, Sergio Pérez managed to secure fourth place. The Austrian racing team could again be satisfied with the result.
Verstappen had it pretty easy during the Styrian Grand Prix. The Dutchman was never in trouble, as Hamilton kept a considerable gap on him. This gives hope for next weekend when a race at the same circuit is scheduled. Helmut Marko expects the races to be similar.
"The circuit and the cars will remain the same," he stated in conversation with Servus TV. "Only the tyres will change. And I assume that the softer compound will please us even more. After the Mercedes stop, we calculated that we could continue for another ten laps, but we didn't want to take any risks. I think with soft tyres we can exercise the same or even more dominance."
New standings in world championship
Verstappen's victory in Austria puts him even further ahead in the world championship. Where the Dutch driver has 156 points, Hamilton follows in second place with 138 points.
