Bottas fears for Red Bull: 'Still a lot of work to do'

Valtteri Bottas had to work hard to get on the podium at the Styrian Grand Prix but eventually stayed ahead of Sergio Pérez. The Finnish driver, however, has realised that Red Bull Racing have a strong car at their disposal this season.
"I think personally it was a good weekend, apart from the penalty," Bottas stated after the race talking to Sky. "Starting from fifth today and getting third for a Red Bull is good. We're looking forward to next weekend and a better result. The last two laps felt more like rallying."
Bottas noted that Red Bull were again surprisingly fast in Austria, leaving plenty of work for his team to do. "They seem to be fast. I have a feeling they are about 2-3 tenths a lap faster than us. We still have a lot of work to do to get the car faster than them. Today we worked to stay one car ahead," he points in Pérez's direction.
Mercedes versus Red Bull
Mercedes saw the gap in the constructors' championship increase further due to Verstappen's victory. Before the race, it was still 37 points behind, but now it is 40 points behind.
